We believe that every effort to protect health must also uplift people. Together with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, we are proud to support the Differentiated HIV Services for Key Populations (DHSKP) programme — a nationally recognised initiative aimed at reducing HIV transmission, promoting safe practices, and addressing stigma. It is a programme that delivers not only protection, but also dignity, care, and education to vulnerable communities.

In 2025, Karex contributed 700,000 condoms and 700,000 lubricants worth RM2.3 million — a commitment designed to make HIV prevention accessible, inclusive, and effective. But impact is more than numbers. Our donation is distributed as Sexual Transmission Prevention Kits by over 200 trained community healthcare workers across 52 outreach sites, including STI-friendly Government Healthcare Clinics. Using a proven outreach model that reached more than 50,000 individuals in the past year alone, these kits ensure that protection and education reach those who need them most.

This initiative also creates opportunities beyond health. Residents from Rumah Inap PT Foundation and Rumah Sahabat play an important role in packing and distributing supplies — transforming the programme into a source of livelihood, pride, and empowerment.

art against AIDS:
Creativity in Collaboration

Since its inception, art against AIDS (AAA) has stood as a testament to what partnerships can achieve when communities, corporations, and institutions unite for a cause. What began as a youth-led art movement has grown into a national platform supported by diverse stakeholders — from higher institutions and community clinics to government agencies, NGOs, and corporate partners.

Through the shared belief that art can challenge stigma and inspire change, AAA has raised over RM2 million in support of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation. Every ringgit goes directly towards critical HIV/AIDS programmes, ensuring prevention, treatment, and community support reach those who need it most.

The initiative is more than an exhibition — it is a living collaboration. Students, NGOs, corporates and artists converge to spark dialogue, create awareness, and champion inclusion. By channelling creativity into impact, AAA proves that social change is not the work of one, but the power of many voices, moving together for a healthier future.

Partnership with Hilton Hotels

As part of our ongoing commitment to health education and HIV awareness, Karex collaborated with Hilton Hotels to curate a special pack designed to spark important conversations and reinforce the importance of safe practices.

Through this initiative, more than 12,000 packs were distributed across Hilton properties nationwide — reaching both employees and guests in ten major locations across Malaysia, from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and beyond.

By integrating awareness into everyday spaces such as hotels, this partnership demonstrates how corporate collaboration can expand the reach of public health education, normalise conversations about HIV prevention, and promote safer, healthier communities.
